Linda Dellandre

Born in Philadephia, raised a family, and worked as a nurse all the while attending classes and painting out of doors whenever I could. I came “Out West” for the sweeping land vistas, canyons, colorful rock formations, and sunny weather. I took classes with Howard Carr, Wiliamson Tapia, Gregory Hull and at The Scottdale Artists School. The landscape is my primary form of expression, whether oil or pastel, plein air or studio. I am awed by the beauty of this land and I’d like to communicate to the viewer a sense of place, a certain light of day, or a glimpse out the car window.

Linda attended art school at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in Philadelphia, PA; Dean’s List in Painting at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ;
