Eric W. Pohl is a freelance photographer and artist based in the Texas Hill Country.

Amid the open skies, craggy limestone bluffs and spring-fed creeks of Central Texas, Eric finds an endless bounty of inspiration for his work.

His fine art photography explores ever-changing light and shadow play across landscapes, intimate details and sculptural qualities of the natural world, and the intersection of people and nature.

His pastel paintings focus on light, form and movement across land and sky. Using expressive mark making and color, he brings to life his vision of the landscapes that inspire him.

Eric is also the author of two photography books including his latest "Texas Hill Country: A Scenic Journey"

On the flip side, Eric is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer, graphic designer, and web developer. Find out more at epohl.com
